George Clarke styles his home office

George’s style is sleek, mid-century modern, and Tetbury Charcoal curtains perfectly complement this cool design aesthetic. A simple wave curtain header allows the curtains to drape in soft, rippling folds, creating a relaxed and informal feel.

As George discovered, curtains and soft textiles can really help improve the acoustics in your garden room, especially if you have hard surfaces throughout. And if, like George, you use your garden building as a home office, curtains are great for controlling strong sunlight and reducing glare on computer screens.

Creating a year round conservatory

Lots of people struggle with temperature control in glass conservatories, and this can result in a room that’s unloved and rarely used. So we asked George to demonstrate how our specialist Pleated blinds can help create a comfortable temperature all year round.  As George explains, it’s important to deal with the roof first, as this is where lots of heat tends to escape. Our Pleated roof blinds have a special coating that helps prevent heat loss in winter and reflects sunlight to keep the conservatory cool in summer.
