Can I use Vertical blinds in my extra-wide window?

Vertical blinds are one of the most versatile, budget-friendly and adaptable blind types, suitable for standard and extra-wide windows and doors, bay and bow windows, and even sloping windows. Top tips for wide windows

    Are Verticals good for privacy?

Vertical blinds are a perfect choice if your home is overlooked. Tilt the louvres to diffuse the light and prevent prying eyes from looking into your home, or close them to provide complete privacy and light control.

Which rooms are Vertical blinds best for?

Our collection includes styles for any space, along with specialist fabrics that are particularly suited to certain environments. For example, our rigid PVC louvres are wipe clean and moisture-resistant so are an excellent choice for bathrooms and even wet rooms. Our range also includes blackout fabrics suitable for providing extra light and temperature control in bedrooms. Why we love Verticals

Can I have Vertical blinds in a curved bow window?

Yes. Vertical blinds can be fitted to a special headrail that follows the curve of your window. Our Vertical blinds come with optional curved or flat louvres for a sleek finish. Discover what happened when architect George Clarke helped install a Vertical blind at a bow window

What we say about Vertical blinds

    Great for...
    • Adding style and shade on a budget
    • Large expanses of glass or unusual shaped windows
    • Controlling light and privacy with adjustable vertical slats
    • Kitchens and bathrooms with waterproof and easy clean options
    • Reducing light levels with specialist 'dim out' fabrics
    • Minimising glare in home offices with specialist fabrics
    • Creating coordinating looks with matching Roller blinds
    • Family spaces, with chainless and wand operated options
    Things to consider
    • When pulled back, the Vertical blind will be stacked at the side of your window. Your advisor can recommend ways to minimise this
    • The wide vertical slats might fill your windowsills. Venetian blinds or Wooden blinds may give you more space
    • Even with dim-out fabrics, some light may leak from between the louvres. For a better blackout effect, try pairing with curtains

Choose your vertical blind based on colour
